This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius... But only in the finding planets there sense. Apparently most planets we find in other solar systems are gas giants like Jupiter. This one is actually an "Earthlike" ball of rock. And it's only 15 light years away! That's practically in the neighborhood. We can maybe go there and borrow a cup of something.

I've been the Salem twice. Partly, because of Nathaniel Hawthorne. But also because I watched Bewitched while growing up, and there's that one story where she goes back in time to the Salem witch trials, which got me interested in the subject. So, I dunno. The Bewitched statue is kind of cheesy. But it's one of the reasons people know to visit Salem.

And now Florida's misgovernor Jeb Bush wants to investigate Michael Schiavo for allegedly, fifteen years ago, maybe, waiting too long to call 911. All I can say is, that's messed up. It smacks of revenge, frankly -- like the Bush team has been embarrassed by the autopsy showing that, in fact, Mrs. Schiavo was actually in a non-recoverable vegetative state and now they have to take it out on someone.
