New comics! Epitaph Part Three, or start at the beginning.

Epitaph wwas briefly called Born : Died and in my script called
First and Last but I always hated those names.
I started to want to call it Epitaph, but was briefly held back
by the fact that epitaph doesn't mean that, exactly. It doesn't mean the
dates part of a grave marker. An epitaph is things like "He'll live
forever in our hearts" which always make me cry to read them because
they always make me imagine the pain of the grieving people who put them
there.
As promised, the Fabulous Demon Babe.
And now, because Paul is always nagging me about this, the new issue
of Talebones contains my story "Persephone
Eats Winter." And then the one after that contains a story from my
Clarionmate Caroline Yoachim. So you should totally subscribe.
24-hour comic day results: 14 pages complete, plus vague outlines of where it has to go, and end. When it's finished, it will be Voodoo Saints, a band on the road story, which is either before or after The Saint Valentine's Day Massacre. The 14 pages do include a rather nice pinup of the Fabulous Demon Babe as New Orleans burlesque dancer, which I promise to scan, color, and post. As it is, the next narrative Goth House is Born : Died, the conclusion of the High School of the Damned meta-series.

I have added new books to the Goth House book pile. Which makes it sound a little like I plan to burn them. Wait, no, I strongly encourage fundamentalists to burn copies of Goth House. Wicked, wicked Goth House. It's full of all kinds of immorality! Let's see, there's drinking, more drinking, rampant liberal politics, demon-summoning, Halloween, more Halloween, and HELL!
So obviously, you should burn them. Make sure you have plenty on hand to burn.
